The Oregon Structural Specialty Code (OSSC) establishes uniform performance standards that provide rea- sonable safeguards for health, safety, welfare, comfort and security of the residents of the State of Oregon who are occupants and users of buildings, and provides for the use of modern methods, devices, materials, techniques and practicable maximum energy conservation.
